Born in Gran Canaria, Spain (1987), Daniel Pérez began his sculpture studies in 2005, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. From those early steps, learning various sculpture techniques and materials, he felt the need to further develop his artistic knowledge and feed his curiosity. In 2007, he decided to move to Valencia to study Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, followed by a Master’s degree in Artistic Production with a specialization in Contemporary Thinking.
From the beginning, he focused his career on the field of sculpture, participating in numerous calls and art competitions, receiving several recognitions for his work over the past twenty years.
He currently develops his personal work between Gran Canaria and Valencia, showcasing his work on the international stage. Occasionally, he participates in international sculpture events creating monumental sculptures. His works can be found in more than 15 countries, in public spaces, private collections, and museums.
In 2020, he began working at the EASD Gran Canaria as a teacher specializing in metal sculpture, a position he combines with his personal artistic production.
